Constantius II, 337-361. Siliqua (Silver, 17 mm, 2.64 g, 6 h), Lugdunum, 360-361. D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II to right. Rev. VICTORIA DD NN AVG / LVG Victory advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. Bastien 258. RIC 211. RSC 259b. A very rare variety. Nicely toned and struck on an exceptionally heavy flan. Light marks and with a minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the collection of Dipl.-Ing. Adrian Lang, ex Roma E-Auction 90, 18 November 2021, 1372, and from a scattered hoard found in West Norfolk, 1-31 October 2018, submitted for consideration as Treasure to the PAS and returned to the finders (PAS ID: NMS-963FF1).
